We really appreciated: 1. the location - it was quiet, safe, and close to the airport, restaurants, strip malls as well as a bus stop; buses pass every 30 minutes 2. the airport transfers - a free shuttle goes to the airport and returns every 30 minutes 3. the pleasant staff - we especially loved Michel and his Haitian countryman who served us at breakfast; they were very pleasant and attentive 4. the buffet breakfast - there were enough choices not to get tired of them during our 7-day stay 5. the bed and pillow - we felt like were sleeping on a cloud 6. the view - we had a spectacular view of the lagoon and pool

The staff members were very pleasant and helpful. Although there are a few critiques, as below, the room overall was really nice. Love the suite. The lobby and lounging areas are excellent. The lobby view, overlooking the pool and lake (water retention) are superb. The grab n go food area/market came in handy.

I love this property. I love the lobby lay-out, the wide entrance, the spacious parking lot, the pool deck area, the restaurant and bar. My favourite part of this hotel is the blue lagoon view that I get to enjoy from the high rooms. From this hotel, you can enjoy a shaded walk under tree canopies to an area with a Starbucks, a Chipotle restaurant, and other popular restaurants. About 300 metres, you can also find a shopping plaza with Burlington, and a supermarket. Walgreen and CVS are also within walking distance in the Blue Lagoon area.

Although the room was a little dated it was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. I loved the bathtub, the bed and the view from my room was amazing!! Jesse on reception was so welcoming and friendly, he really made me feel at ease after a long and complicated journey. The lobby is stunning, very art deco with a fabulous cocktail bar. The ladies at the breakfast buffet were really sweet, the breakfast was a good selection although quite small. Would 100% stay again

this hotel is my favorite. the architectural style of the public area - the staircase, bar, restaurant, pool - well designed, and inviting. I hope they never "renovate". the restaurant servers are professional, and friendly, having been there for many years. dinner is served in the bar area and chef has a really nice touch. the ahi tacos the best. the bed was comfortable.

Whilst in Miami for a short break or transit, this is my hotel of choice. The location is excellent, close to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the pool area is extremely relaxing. Check in is always smooth and the staff are very friendly. The shuttle bus to/from the airport runs like clockwork every 30 minutes. Breakfast is really good, with lots of options. The bar area serves food options throughout the day and evening.

Staff- Amazing front desk staff, didn’t meet any of the others Comfort-bed is extremely comfortable. There was alot of noise could be heard in our room 806 but ive come to realise this can be quite common in US hotels based on low build quality, and depending on where your room is situated ie next to or below housekeeping areas, stairwells, elevators etc Amenities-Pool is nice, gym also good Location-Close to restaurants, groceries and airport Shuttle is a bonus. Its departs every 30mins.
